Creative Dimension and the Digital Creative Industries & Beyond -project are organizing the Luovat duunit – Creative Jobs Expo for Metropolia UAS’ digital creative field students at the Metropolia Arabia Campus on Thursday, February 26th, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

At the Luovat duunit event, current students & recent graduates of Metropolia UAS get to meet companies in a relaxed atmosphere.

Companies operating in areas such as audio, film/TV, gaming, animation, XR, and digital design will introduce themselves with short speeches. In addition to the introductions, students have the opportunity to engage directly with representatives from companies at their booths and, for example, submit their job or internship applications in person.

Metropolia UAS students are also warmly welcome to visit the pop-up CV clinic in the main lobby from 12.00 to 14.30 PM.

The languages of the event are Finnish & English, which means that it’s possible to interact with most of the companies in English. The companies’ preferred service languages will be mentioned alongside the company name in the list below.

Some coffee & tea will be available at the event.

WHO CAN ATTEND?

The event is targeted at Metropolia UAS students focused in digital creative fields who are seeking internships, summer jobs, part-time positions, or a thesis commissioner from digital creative industry companies.

Recent graduates from Metropolia (graduated within the past year), who are looking for entry-level positions in the digital creative fields, are also welcome.

At the event, companies will have their own booths where you can chat with their representatives. If you’re interested in applying for a job or internship, make sure to have your application and CV ready in advance so you can send them electronically.

Need help with your CV? No worries! During the event, Metropolia’s career coaches will be running a CV clinic in the lobby of Arabia campus at 12.00-14.30 PM – pop in and give your CV a boost!

The event starts at 12:00 PM and ends at 15:00 PM.

The company introduction speech schedule will be published here later on.

LIVESTREAM

If you can’t make it personally to the event, no worries! The company presentations will be livestreamed and recorded for future watching.

POP-UP CV CLINIC

At the same time with Luovat duunit Creative Jobs Expo, Metropolia’s career coaches are arranging a pop-up CV clinic at the Main Lobby from 12.00 PM to 14.30 PM. Metropolia UAS students are warmly welcome to join the clinic to make sure their job application documents are in top shape for job hunting!

COMPANY, JOIN US!

Creative Jobs Expo Luovat duunit offers industry companies a fantastic opportunity to present themselves to Metropolia University of Applied Sciences’ creative field students and recent graduates: each company receives its own booth space and/or an introduction speech, as well as visibility among students even after the event. With this event, you can find the next top talent for your team!

Luovat duunit event is also a great opportunity for companies to network internally within the industry, as in addition to booths and introduction speeches, time is reserved at the end of the event for informal networking among companies.

Participation in the event is completely free of charge, and companies do not need to have open job positions at that particular moment.
